R59 uncapped ADSL bolt-on special announced

How good is openweb 1MBps standard uncapped cause the price is really good??

Maybe somebody can clarify one thing for me.

After Hours, we open up the floodgates, and allow for unshaped access without any speed limits

You pay a different price for different speeds, but yet all accounts are shaped equally during day time.

1Mbps After Hours Uncapped Unshaped (256kbps daytime) – R299 (new service)
4Mbps After Hours Uncapped Unshaped (256kbps daytime) – R589 (normal Price: R889)
10Mbps After Hours Uncapped Unshaped (256kbps daytime) – R879 (normal Price: R1399)

So is it unshaped without any speed limits...or not?

256k from 6AM-6PM
1Mbit / 4Mbit / 10Mbit from 6PM-6AM <-- unshaped / unthrottled part

EDIT: I'm not too sure about the times, but you get the picture

I will never be able to live with a 256k line, going crazy just thinking about it.

The might aswell just made it 384k.

The @lantic special is incredible! And speeds are fantastic! HOWEVER, there is a billing issue that myself and a few others are experiencing, so please keep that in mind when signing up for an account. You might get hit with a few gigs during peak time that weren't used, and you have to pay for them (and CS will give you a hard time if you try contest those gigs).

I wonder if the OpenWeb accounts are the same as the old Express+ accounts, that Axxess used to have. If they are, that's a really good price for them.

Why can't Openweb do something similar? I know they have uncapped after hours but why don't they have a bolt on option on their capped offerings.

@lantic has launched an uncapped ADSL bolt-on promotion, giving new subscribers free access to the service in July and August.

“In other words, any @lantic customer with an existing capped ADSL product can now get the ADSL uncapped ADSL Bolt-On for only R59 per month extra to their existing subscription,” the company explained.
Is it free or not?
