I'm worried about 300mb not being enough per month for me on my Vodacom contract.

Vodacom to tackle out-of-bundle surprises
Worried about getting slapped with a shocking bill after going out of bundle? Vodacom’s building an app for that
Excuse my ignorance but contracts are increasingly "clear as mud" to me
I want to move from BB to Android soon and I'm considering porting from MTN to CellC simultaneously.

Cell C announced two new high-usage contract and prepaid packages set to become available on 1 August 2011.
AlwaysOn Wi-Fi data packages planned for mobile devices
Wi-Fi data packages specifically for your smartphone, tablet or connected music player will soon be launched from AlwaysOn
Expect competitive data pricing from 8ta this month
8ta is expected to launch a new data product this month which will rival or better the current R149 for 2GB mobile data promotions
Does anybody know if it's possible to get alerts set up on an MTN contract, that will let you know when your data bundle is about to run out? I'm pretty sure both Vodacom and Cell C has this.
Customer care says that I must use USSD or dial 16202 but this will mean I have to keep typing stuff...
