2011 Super Rugby (Super 15) thread

Lions haven't achieved anything. They lost....again. What's that... now 15 in 'n row in superugby ?

Yeah but at least it wasn't a klap, and the Bulls did have a K@K when the Lions started coming at them hard. I'm a massive Bulls supporter but I'll give other teams their due. Lions are going to get some points on the log this year, other then just the odd bonus point for loosing by less then 7 points. You'll see.;)

Another lil' slap on the wrist for a non-SA player...

Brumbies' Chapman banned
Sydney - Brumbies forward Mitchell Chapman has been suspended for one week on a striking charge, SANZAR said on Saturday.
The sanction was imposed following Friday's Vodacom Super Rugby match, won 25-24 by the Melbourne Rebels in Melbourne.

Chapman was cited on a charge of striking Rebels' England international flyhalf Danny Cipriani in the 10th minute of the second half of the match.

SANZAR Judicial Officer Campbell Thomson ruled that Chapman had connected near Cipriani's right eye, recklessly striking the Rebels' player with an open left hand.

Well the Reds are playing absolute rubbish rugby so far this year...disappointing.

All this time and you still haven't learned to read, tsk tsk. I made a comment about them not being their usual selves, .....

Soon as you learn to remember:
Bulls not looking to(o) groovy atm
says nothing about usual selves.

But good on you for the contrived thinly veiled insults. Some "things" stay the same.

Well if you gonna have a hissy fit and read into comments the wrong way, maybe you shouldn't be reading the thread huh. You should know by now, if I wanna poke fun at or insult a team and or it's supporters, I'll just come right out and say it ;)

P.S - by the way, when the Sharks played the Cheetahs, I happened to mention to a buddy that they not looking too groovy atm ...... just to put it into perspective for you weepy types

Worst news possible for the Cheetahs but even worse for the Springboks and the Rugby World Cup.

Juan Smith will be out for at least 6 months and maybe as long as 9 months after he tore his Achilles tendon in the first two minutes against the Bulls last night.

F*UCK!!!!!

 we have capable replacements for Juan ..... k@k news for his rugby though

Yesterday: 2 home wins and then an away win.

Today: 2 home wins and .... can the Lions beat the Stormers at Newlands?

Seems not. Sadly I was supporting them. The Stormers coach is really one to ponder over, his initial squad selections were terrible.

Close for the Lions! If they can continue to build on their last 2 performances they are going to beat quite a few teams this year!!

If they had a reliable kicker they would have had two wins from two matches.

Two great SA Derbies this weekend and both times the MOM came from losing team. Shows just how close the games were.

I'm over the Lions now ..... I keep wishing they'd win but they are perennial almost-won-it's. End of the season are they still gonna be crowing about "almost there"?

waa waa waa ..... Lions throw away another one. Only reason it's a high scoring game is that both teams have no defense to speak of

f#©k! 5h1t! cr@p! I had to work so I missed this game. Who watched? M_H - sounds like you did. Was it an improvement or decline on last week?
A tale of two halves.... very promising start but then they made too many errors, which you cannot afford at that level.
