Afrihost Mobile Delivery Feedback Thread

Nothing wrong with the couriers. I got a initial e-mail stating delivery would be tomorrow 27th before 16h00. I send a mail back that I will be out of the office and this morning I got e-mail I will receive it today. I went to their tracking site and saw that they are enroute and when I checked again it said that they are 3.92 km's from my address and delivery will be approximate @ 15:07 so I called them and asked them to give me feedback where the driver is and they confirmed that he will be at my place @ 13h00. He was there on time and I received my goods.

It's good that you had a positive experience with the couriers. However, a large number of us got the initial link on Saturday and were informed we'd be receiving it before 16:00 today and made plans around that to ensure availability for the whole RICA who-haa. I didn't expect to see the courier before next week because Afrihost had set my expectations for next week, but then this courier company changed my expectation to today and then they broke that. The same thing happens with Telkom when they say they're going to come out but don't show up... I don't mind if they take a day or two longer, I mind that they mess me around.

Remarkable - unfortunately just because you had a good experience with them does not indicate that they are able to provide an overall acceptable service. It is how they handle the problems that provides a true indication of their level of customer service. In my case they are either lying or they are deliberately trying to mess me around. My status on their waybill now indicates "Processing Order" in spite of initially promising delivery today and having collected from Afrihost on Saturday already.

Hi Ethan

Our Driver seems to have missed you - our apologies for that.

These deliveries are a problem because we are often delayed with the RICA docs not being ready.

We will attempt again but will email you when that will be. We have 5000 of these to deliver so it does get a little complex.

Thankyou for your patience.

My order status still says "failed". It got updated to expected delivery around the 1st September. Now its back to "delivery failed". With no hint as to when they will be making an attempt to deliver my product.I feel like, making excuses, is not the way to address an issue. Their lack of customer service is inconceivable. They really need to go get their level 1 and 2 customer service training.

At least they replied to your email - I have still had no response from them on my email of this morning.

Hang in there, sent them a mail on Sat, Aug 24, 2013 at 10:39 AM and managed to get a automated reply + ticket/C-REF--110XXXX--! reference number today at about 15:15 with a response to said email following shortly afterwards.

I mailed them on Friday, still waiting for reply

Also phoned them today and equally unsatisfactory :(

So they must make private arrangements with more than 8000 deliveries, for a device that is free?

Send a message to Johan or call the call centre then ask for operations(logistics) give your tracking number and agree to a viable solution!

Looks to me that Capetown is the thorn in the thumb!
 
I'm getting 0 - 1 bars in Odendaalsrus, even when standing outside :( Speed is horrible. The MTN coverage map shows my area is well covered :confused:

I am in Allanridge. How did you get yours?

We're terribly sorry that this has turned into a frustration :(
Please try and contact the couriers either via email or phone to make an arrange. We're confident that they'll have things sorted out for you.
