Called MDS in Cape Town and they gave me the driver's number. The guy is swamped but I convinced him to deliver mine tomorrow morning.

Boys and Gals, I may be in luck...just got email....Driver has been Dispatched...now we wait...
Gees, trying to cancel my order is just as big a hassle.
According to the rep the only way to cancel is to refuse delivery but since they won't deliver until I give them copies of my identification and proof of address they wont process my order, beyond taking my money of course, so I can't refuse delivery. On top of that I'm away from next week so I'm not even around to refuse delivery of a package they won't deliver anyway…
EDIT: What AfriHost seems to be unable to comprehend is if I was going to be around I wouldn't be refusing delivery![]()
MDS CPT have lost my package they cant seem to track it down.
They now looking around the warehouse for it.
Not impressed with them.
The device is apparently pre-rica'd so I can't even cancel mine let alone let a third party take it over (or even accept delivery) so no, ain't gonna happen. My offer of taking over still stands![]()
So who was eating crow again?

Mobile Data Delivery Update
We would like to thank everyone for their patience while waiting to get their Mobile Packages.
The couriers have tried their utmost to deliver as many devices as possible before 6th September however, there have been some unforeseen delays resulting in some areas not getting their deliveries in time for which we apologise.
Pretoria deliveries can expect completion on Monday 9 September as a result of a high volume of orders.
Cape Town deliveries can expect completion by Tuesday 10 September as a result of a high volumes of orders and the extreme weather conditions that led to rain and flooding.
Durban deliveries can expect completion on Friday 6 September. Due to the oil spill on the highway Monday, no deliveries were done on Tuesday.
Again, we would like to apologise for any frustration the delays in the delivery of your mobile package has caused.
If you have any question or require more information, our team is always on hand to assist. You can contact us via Twitter, Facebook, Google + or call us on 011 612 7200.

I can hopefully expect delivery by 10 September. WTF? So I will have 10 days to burn the 5 gigs and not 30.
