Home at 4pm it is for you then![]()
You should have a tracking number once it's scanned in by the courier. Drop me a PM, I'll check what the number is![]()
Got mine today but it's not working.
I'll be using the sim in a D-Link 3G router. For testing purpose I'm using my old nokia E72. I can send and receive SMS messages. I did change the APN to afrihost. Whenever I try to connect to internet, it just say "connection not available". Does Afrihost still need to activate the data maybe or should it work?
I dont want to start complaining right away as I can see that the majority of users are happy. Can anybody shed some light on this, please!!

There were guys that said they could track the driver on a map of some kind with a ETA to your delivery. I dont see that anywhere?
Mine just got delivered
Just got my email confirming the waybill number. Now I have to wait for confirmation when they will deliver.![]()
Received my Mobile 3 after 5pm. Courier asks me to check parcel because it is way smaller than the one he delivered the last time (the one having the mifi device)
By now he knows me and he told me when he sees my name he knows where to go.
Thank you Afrihost and MDS !

@ Afriducks. One point of concern. If the delivery address is different than the RICA address then there is an issue as none of the MDS or Afrihost paperwork had the RICA address so I had to scramble to give my address as a proof as residence as well as the driver could not match the proof of address documentation with the paperwork. That caused another delay!
There cannot be an issue as Afrihost is not submitting your delivery address for RICA registration - I think the courier might've been somewhat confused? He only needs your ID + RICA proof of residence/address ... no matter where that address is and how much it differs from your delivery address.

The courier was not confused but rather meticulous. He checked the proof of address letter and compared it with all the addresses on the documentation he had as well as with all the documentation in the parcel and it did not match as ALL the documentation only had the delivery address. So how would he then know that the Proof of address was the correct address? So he was reluctant to give the delivery without a document that matches the paperwork address. The issue was it caused some confusion ans as such delayed the next delivery. Comprehenda?
Still off-topic, but I purchased and RICA'ed a prepaid sim from a PEP a while ago and all they asked for was my ID. I tried to give them my proof of address but they just wanted my address verbally and were not interested in the document.
RICA is a farce
