Afrihost Mobile Delivery Feedback Thread

Some feedback on my delivery ... since this is the delivery feedback thread after all ... finally got my mifi today! :D
I assume I'm not welcome in this thread anymore though :(

ROFLMAO! Where did they recruit you from ? I have never come across any aliens whatsoever but do tell me more about them ?

Good to know it will be covered if mother nature happens and it's good on your part you were transparent with the customer/client others wouldn't be so forward. Clarity,honesty is always a noble thing in my books, hate companies that lie and don't take responsibility.



MDS were never transparent with me whatsoever their drivers had excuses that they couldn't find my house number etc but after supplying them with crossroads/intersections that helped them a lot to actually find me.




What MDS should do before the driver is dispatched etc. They should send an SMS notification and by default if you don't respond that means you available for the courier if you aren't then type NO :)

There are a lots of things that we'd love to do, but there are also reasons why they're not necessarily practical. Like issuing driver's with cellphones to call ahead and sending SMS'es. Unless these are automated systems, possibly barcode and scan driven, you're adding levels of complexity to a process that shoots the costs up. Also, remember that the complex process here is RICA. The driver must do a face-to-face verification. Without that component - it would be much simpler.

Having said that though, doing 700 deliveries a day also puts a strain on doing this efficiently. When we're doing only a handful of deliveries, we can probably tighten up this system a lot better.
 
So tell me seeing as I have yet to hear if they will deliver this week and it being public holiday tomorrow. Will we get a free month seeing as I already paid for something that's not been delivered?

Please drop me a PM, we definitely don't want to you to have paid for something you didn't receive. We'll see how we can best resolve this for you until you get your delivery :(
 
What sort of delivery delay are people experiencing now for NEW ORDERS? I am referring this product to many of my family and friends but do not want this great offer to be tarnished by a bad\delayed delivery experience....
