What's happening in this situation is I'm paying for a 20Mbps unshaped capped account and getting speeds less than a 1/4 or less my line speed throughout the month due to your capacity issues during peak periods.
Refer back to all my posts and screen shots throughout the month for proof.
I don't see why myself or any other person that's affected paying for an unshaped account should pay full price because AH ran out of capacity.

The adjudicator for ISPA ordered that Afrihost must make it clear on its websites that the company is experiencing technical difficulties, and that its products may not meet the offered service levels at this time.
“This information should be communicated upfront on the website, and proactively to each existing and potential customer until such time as these issues are resolved,” said ISPA.
The adjudicator imposed a suspended fine of R50,000 that will be enforced should Afrihost be found in breach of this clause in the next 24 months.
We have lots of roadworks here in the Eastern Cape. Maybe it's all those stop and go's![]()
50k is nothing. That fine was the most useless thing everFrom https://www.naschenweng.info/2015/10/15/afrihost-fined-adsl-network-problems/
I think someone's playing with fire... I believe AH is in breach of their suspended fine.![]()

I would like to ask a question and would like a honest question back from anyone at Afrihost please. I am not one to jump between ISP's to much hassle but the issues with the network is even making me g..vol now. Last night the network just tanked, latency high and dail-up speeds.
Honestly now around when will the upgrades be done. I dont think we are asking for the exact date and time but just an indication as to when it will be done. In the next month or two or three?
When you play open cards most times people wont give you flack especially when you a service provider.
