That's debateable, if it was, my data would have been auto populated on Vuma's side based on what I provided. They got it wrong the first timeI'm talking about the ISP side

You missing the point dude. In order for data to get from AH to Vuma, it was manually done, by who....the ISPVuma is not an ISP - they are a FNO
Yeah - ok dude, that must be a vuma thing then - on openserve, after the technician left my house, i called my ISP at the time ( CISP), and when i put the phone down - i literally put my details into my router and i was up and running - no manual work done there ...You missing the point dude. But I'm not going into this further, it's going to be a waste of both of our times
So I decided to take a pure fibre package. In the checkout, I selected migration of existing line. In my clientzone, it says: order being processed -
"Congratulations! Your order has been placed with Vuma Aerial and is being processed. A line installation is required, Vuma Aerial will be in touch regarding this. Once your line is installed you will be connected via Afrihost. We will notify you when everything is up and running."
Is this just a standard response to any order or is there a problem with the order I placed?
When I went with RocketNet the first time it was exactly like that, done and dusted in a couple hours, completely different now when migrating. Not blaming AH completely, but somewhere between AH and Vumatel, this process went completely south and now I'm sitting with no internet connection whatsoever. Vumatel says can take up to 48 hours, which could mean Monday only if you look at it from a working days point of viewYeah - ok dude, that must be a vuma thing then - on openserve, after the technician left my house, i called my ISP at the time ( CISP), and when i put the phone down - i literally put my details into my router and i was up and running - no manual work done there ...

Have the same problem here.. Don't forget APEX as wellThe kids need their Fortnite fix. I'd never hear the end of it if we were to be without a connection until next week.![]()

Hey STORMERSFAN@AfriFella where art though.. M. I. A
Hi
Thanks for your mail.
As you are a migrated customer, you have 3 months free for the Fibre package that you have signed up. Already your account has been added with a discount to reverse the invoice for the month of 1st August.
If you need any further assistance please get back to us,
Have a great day ahead.
Thank you!
Can't be.. It supposed to include cancelation fee and activation fee as well as 3 months free fibre(first month is pro-rata) .. If they start this nonsense..I'll be gone in 6 months..I think @AfriMan may still be on study sabbatical, so I'm posting here for @AfriFella or whoever may see it. I was under the impression migrations were 3 months free, plus credit on any cancellation/migration costs.
I emailed accounts@afrihost the invoice for my cancellation period at CISP, and got this response:
Is AH not doing the credit anymore? Would be a little misleading if so.
