YeahHi,
Are you using the gmail smtp server?
@AfriNatic is the AH RADIUS server acting up again?
Got redirected to the activation page and had to put my cell and OTP in.
Yeah
No. Was short lived. Not for the first time. Didn't check settings. Do they randomly change from time to time?Still having an issue with it?
I'm not seeing any similar complaints so might be an isolated issue. Did you double check the settings?

I did tether to my phone and the mail that was stuck in the outbox sent.
Are you using Port 25? I doubt it, but I know at some point anti-spam things blocked some port 25 traffic for a time, or something... I am sure Google doesnt support that anymore.smtp.gmail.com
Port 25, correct. Been my setup since around 2009. More or less. Are you using Port 25? I doubt it, but I know at some point anti-spam things blocked some port 25 traffic for a time, or something... I am sure Google doesnt support that anymore.
- Gmail SMTP port (TLS): 587
- Gmail SMTP port (SSL): 465
@AfriNatic
Hey! You are an absolute legend. I just wanted to report back to say that the issue has been resolved. I'm incredibly grateful and happy. Seriously - thank you for organizing this.
Amusingly, they didn't end up replacing the Fibre ONT. The technician said he wanted to first change the line and port that I was using. He did that, reprovisioned the line, and everything has been golden since.
Thanks again!

Change port to 465, and below that from Auto to SSL (Or Auto would likely work.)I got a mail stuck in my outbox once again.

I stand to be corrected but @AfriNatic could confirm, I believe there was some kind of restriction/throttle on port 25 at some point in time due to mass spam/hacked routers etc.
Still seeing degraded international download speeds. Are you able to confirm whether these changes have been applied?Morning,
Apologies for the issues experienced.
Unfortunately the degraded international speeds is still ongoing. We are enaging with the vendor to push to the completion on the upgrades to the peering points at LINX.

Once again, doesn't go above 8kb/s. So strange..
Doing a trace route now to Github if it might help.
