Yes, that deal. I went for the home one for the explora plus I think I'll be fine with 50GB. I schedule all my downloads so making them happen between midnight and 7am shouldn't be a problem at all.

Bet you the ONT is locked down :p
I use a mikrotik and can establish 2 PPoE sessions, so you don't really need more than 1 port. Will try for 3 sessions tonight, haven't done that yet.

The Huawei router has PPPOE passthrough anyway so if they are locked down I can just use another old router and one lan port. Could probably also use a switch to connect more than one router. Will investigate this more.

Bandwidth flies when it is this fast, I used about half of my 50GB just messing around, at least my usage is now back to normal.
Please drop me a pm when you get your explora, bit irritating to me and I have asked multiple times about the status of the thing.

Yeah look I could really really really do with those speeds, so I am certainly jealous, but I also thought the upload would be quite a bit higher ?
 
It's just telkom's way of getting more money out of you, without you realizing. That's if you are a casual consumer.
 
The upload is meant to be 10% of the download. Or so they say. Will see how quickly I blast through my cap and then we can test soft cap speed.
 
Could you please speedtest an international server, maybe a London one. Just curious about the ping and international speeds.

I will tonight when I get home. Sorry, only had 15 mins to test before I had to leave for work this morning.
 
International ping is very similar to ADSL.
Basically you get a little less because you take away the delay that DSL introduces but that should only be 10ms max on a decent DSL line.
