ATI 5850 with Intel Q9550

wonder why.. Anyhow amd 965 ,5850 and power cable.
 
Yea i think you got 4700 or something with the 965 right? Surely that extra 500 points for cpu cannot be the difference between 18500 and htc's score?
 
guys, seriously... Im quite upset about this 3dmark score, I mean WTF!? A couple hundred I MIGHT be able to live with, but over 2000

LOL htc brawler is just rebooting and then going to run it :D.

Can you post a better pic i cannot see clearly what scores are on the right, or just manually right em down. Look like 6xxx and 8xxx

The Q9550 isnt that much slower than the AMD 965 (actually faster clock for clock) but I reckon 3d mark and gaming the AMD pomps :)
 
Very odd yours is so much lower, surely that cpu score cannot be the massive difference.

Maybe it is that amd's gpu's respond better to amd cpu's or something :D.

could it be a limitation on the mobo im running , its quite old, its an Asus P5N-D.. its got the old Nvidia 651 SLI chipset on it

??
 
Could possibly be but i dunno hey maybe not.

Those drivers the ones from the cd or the latest from the amd website?
 
latest from the website, downloaded them this evening.

I sent PM to Brawler, I wanna put my card in his PC and see what happens... :)
