Cell C Network Issues: Disconnects, Coverage, Throughput Problems - Report Here

A cloud fart again over the weekend and it falls over. Still no signal.

As I explained earlier in the thread every time there's a power outage or little bit of rain (we still don't get a lot here) LTE goes out and there's only 3G and LTE further away. Seems to be the whole tower. I don't understand how that can be. There only seems to be towers further away on one side and nothing on the other side of me.

I can get 2 bars now again, but for how long?
 
It's fixed, until the next cloud fart or power outage...

Why on a continual basis though and why not with the other towers? Also why does this tower seem to go online and offline corresponding to whether there's power or not?
 
Network Fouriesburg

Data speeds have gone down enormously over the last year or so in this small eastern FS town.
As a whole Cell C has helped us quite well since it installed/activated their 3 G network as the first CSP in 2011 in Fouriesburg. The others followed later in 2011, and Telkom only came with ADSL max 4Mbps in Aug 2012.

This all I can get on daytime, about average for the last few months. MyBB speed test.
Ping: 94ms
Download: 0.51Mbps
Upload: 0.94Mbps
I just made the mistake to activate another Giga 200 package. Started of on 5 Gb pm, but since then used about 10 Giga 200 prepaid packs. So have been a faithful Cell C customer for years for data on my USB modem SIM as well as on several phones..

Another issue : the tower has NO working UPS it seems as it fails immediately with the short power cuts we suffer here often from, with heavy wind or lighting in the vicinity. And roaming on VC is poor, their tower is too far, and speeds also slow.

This is the same issue here.
 
So @Cell_C,

In the first week of September I was told that due to Network upgrades in the Pietermaritzburg area my connection was slow.
These upgrades were going to take about 3 months. Taking South-African months in consideration we are now almost at the end of those 3 (x2) months. Still the Cell C network is very VERY slow and still there is no LTE signal (I wonder what those upgrades were) The connection is now intermitted as well rather then just constant slow.

My 200GB bundle is almost done, I'm going to have to buy something else this week, but I guess it won't be Cell C, because it is really unworkable.

I have recently moved to Westlake in Modderfontein Jhb, and have literally no coverage at all, I have to roam and still have no internet. I have a device with a 200gb bundle and my phone is on cell c.

Can something be done about this please. I would hate to change networks.

Are there tower issues in Valhalla, Centurion?

For a week now the internet is unusable. It connects but hardly load pages.

Tried the SIM from the ZTE router in a LTE phone, and it was still unusable. It's not router setting. I see Downdetector mentions Valhalla as well, but get no updates to my logged calls from Cell C.

Around Durban North area (La Lucia, Cornubia) been stuck on Vodacom Edge all weekend. Which means no data when outside of wifi.
Logged complaints using the Cell C app, no response just sms's a while later saying it has been resolved. Ofcourse it hasn't.

What a joke.
