Cell C Network Issues: Disconnects, Coverage, Throughput Problems - Report Here

The exact same issue that I have with CellC.The data is only useful for youtube and can not be used for anything else.
It's really insane, I only use half of what I am paying for.... not because I don't wan't to use my data but it is impossible to use it :) The internet speed is frustrating, I can't even play videos.
 
I have just applied with Afrihost for the 100GB deal from Cell C. I fear that I will not be able to use the data.

How do I check if there is a tower close to my place before I fully sign the contract? (I have not verified my banking details yet)

Location is Sunnypark, Sunnysiden Pretoria.

Edit: Asking knowing fully well that my area is covered according to the preliminary check. But who knows, they might juat be selling an unusable data.
 
Hi I have a minor problem here, I lost my phone last week so I want to do a sim swap and re-use my old number. So I called Cell C agent and she asked me questions I couldn't answer e.g. When was the last time I recharged airtime, what was the amount etc. So I'm really confused please help

Have Cell C RTL30VW LTE-A home router. Connected Poynting +9db antenna. Very good signal now ..... but:
Ping: 568ms. Down L: 0.458meg.
Have line of sight to tower. Location - Jeffriesbay, Eastern cape. Paradise beach.
Can I get help on this form ... please.

I have the same set up with close line of site and get terrible downloads - sometimes speedtest.net cannot find a speed.
I complined to CellC, a techie came to test, a few days later I got a call to ask if an improvement and said a techie would contact me after fixing it. I am now waiting and the m in.

Axxess says that the CellC outage on Wednesday night / Thursday morning (~12 hours) and the outage on Thursday afternoon (~1 hour) was country-wide.

What caused the outage?

*Crickets* I'd also like to know this, how is it i can get 10mbps from a speedtest but absolutely nothing else will go above 20kbps between 6 - 11pm every single day.

Yip. All of them. Frustrating indeed. Bandwidth oversold?
I'm still waiting for an explanation how an entire tower can go off both on 3G and 4G so you have to connect to one further away on the edge of coverage.
