Updating Speedstick

We are having the same problem - the MF668 speedstick works fine in our network, but will not work directly in any of the three computers or laptops. After the upgrade are you supposed to have Connector software, or UIMain or Wilog or something else.

Hi mich1, Please PM me your contact number. I will get someone from the tech team to assist. *DM*

Mayhem happening! Did it expire come 1st October 2014 - if that is the case why didn't everyone receive communication via email/sms notifying them how imperative it is to update.

Hi iv been having the same problem but before that i was having the issue of the modem not even connecting to the internet. Im using a huwaeai e1820 and eventually the only way i could get it to get the connection button availible was by disabling the cd component of the dongle. After restarting my pc i got the error cell c connector automatic liscence activation procedure failed even after uninstalling and reinstalling i get the same error im unable to download the cell c connecter as recomended as i dont have proper internet access. What other options do i have to make it work properly? Also why on earth does cell c feel the need to have the program run on a virtual drive isnt an autoplay a more effective way to go iv used a 8ta modem once and have never had issues due to its simplicity

Use MDMA. If you want SMS support, download generic Huawei dashboard.

Hey I know this was posted a while ago but I need help with this. My buddy's CS 19 had the same problem as OP, so I downloaded the software from http://www.cellc.co.za/download-new-software and followed the instructions, but at the end there was an error\

Error 4: AT_ERROR
ERROR. Thread: releaseUpdate_COM70, updating {'pkgv': 'C:\\Users\\Cameron\\Downloads\\CS-19-update2013\\CS-19 update2013\\Modem Binaries\\HostVersion.pkgv', 'device_config': '', 'custom_config': 'C:\\Users\\Cameron\\Downloads\\CS-19-update2013\\CS-19 update2013\\Modem Binaries\\customConfig.xml', 'product_config': '', 'iso': 'C:\\Users\\Cameron\\Downloads\\CS-19-update2013\\CS-19 update2013\\Modem Binaries\\nocd.iso.wrapped', 'mass_storage': 'C:\\Users\\Cameron\\Downloads\\CS-19-update2013\\CS-19 update2013\\Modem Binaries\\mass_storage.wrapped', 'secondary_boot': 'C:\\Users\\Cameron\\Downloads\\CS-19-update2013\\CS-19 update2013\\Modem Binaries\\secondary_boot.wrapped', 'factory_tests': 'C:\\Users\\Cameron\\Downloads\\CS-19-update2013\\CS-19 update2013\\Modem Binaries\\factory_tests.wrapped', 'modem': 'C:\\Users\\Cameron\\Downloads\\CS-19-update2013\\CS-19 update2013\\Modem Binaries\\modem.wrapped', 'loader': 'C:\\Users\\Cameron\\Downloads\\CS-19-update2013\\CS-19 update2013\\Modem Binaries\\loader.wrapped'}

Now the dongle simply comes up as a USB and I have no idea what to do

This is on the CellC Facebook page and may help. I have the same licensing error with a Huwai modem ....

Florian Weller For those running into the RSA Authentication issue: after having spent half a day and 120km in getting this fixed...
The error seems to crop up (on the Nokia modem at least) if the installer is provided only with the folder "Modem Binaries" and not the folder "Key0" as well. Using Advanced Setup, if you select the former folder, it will merrily chug along until it hits the configuration stage, at which point it terminates with said error. The way around this is to select the parent folder of both of these (CS-19 update2013) - i.e. the folder the updater.exe itself is located in.
This way, everything works just fine. Now please Cell C, update your instructions to make this clear!!!

Hi Cell_C,

I have recently acquired a Cell C data stick. I have a Apple Mac, running OSX Maverick (10.9) and unfortunately didn't realise that this data stick does not function on this software, which is the latest release from Apple. Can you please inform me of when this stick will be functional to be used on my Mac? I unfortunately cannot give you the number of the Cell C sim card on the data stick as I cannot connect to the Cell C Connector due to the OSX Maverick not working with the connector.

The following are the details of the stick:
Type: HSUPA USB Stick from ZTE Corporation
Model: MF190

Thank you

I seem to have run into the same issue. Did you manage to sort this out? My Cell C Nokia CS-19 is useless.

Hi Cell_C,

I am having the same issue as Oldseen. I have both a ZTE modem, and the Nokia CS-19. Neither work after upgrading to OSX Mavericks. I visited the Cell C store in Cavendish, Cape Town and they told me they're not compatible with OSX Mavericks and its not Cell C's problem as they don't manufacture the modems.

Please help.

Thanks
