CellC Connection Issues with IRC Server

Hi All, for the second time as my connection lost the last post I made .

Issue:
* Connectivity problems with IRC Server (client or browser) - Disconnects, high lag (25+ seconds) and timeouts. Note: This does not apply to browsing websites, only when connecting to an IRC Server (even if through a website).

Connection:
* Nokia 7210 Supernova over Bluetooth Dongle.

Connection Settings:
* APN: Internet
* Homepage: http://www.cellc.co.za/wap
* Proxy: 196.31.116.250
* Proxy Port: 8080

IRC Server:
* Server:
1. tsunami.jhb.za.atrum.org (Johannesburg)
2. autumn.cpt.za.atrum.org (Cape Town)
3. zenith.cpt.za.atrum.org (Cape Town)
4. tuks.pta.za.atrum.org (Pretoria - reroutes to Tsunami server)
* Port: 6667

Any possible solutions/thoughts/suggestions would be appreciated.

You know I would, except the bastards in our area kept stealing the phone lines. Telkom have now said they will no longer be "supporting/supplying" this area with a telephone line. Nice eh? lol

I'm considering getting a Vodacom Pay-As-You-Go Sim, just to see if the connectivity is any better. Knowing my area, it probably won't be, lmao
