R6 billion is what remained as net profit. You must look at the revenue number i.e. what customers paid to Vodacom, which is R55 billion or about R1 382 per customer per year.

wimax for R50 a month rental?
more info please?
Just waiting for my contract to end. Feels like were being left behind.
I love the way this thread gets ignored by Vodacom.
Vodacom silently wishes this thread would vanish into the depths of this forum.

Thanks for the answer. We have nothing on our tables at the moment.
Thanks for the answer.
I like what iBurst have done; splitting the subscription and the data charges. Vodacom should look at doing something like that. It makes no sense to punish (at R2.00 per MB) your customers who want to buy more from you (i.e. go out of bundle).
No, that might be the reason they were able to double all of their bundle sizes for the same price.I suppose imo that's if you are on the SEACOM band wagon, building your own DSLAMS (FTW)
When Seacom was first on the horizon v3g indicated that Vodacom was very much in line to buy a fat pipe of data. What happened to those plans?
