Hi Paul,
Router is: Asus RT-AC68U

For everyone else, please dont take me wrong its not that I am expecting 200/200 at all times and from every server but can we agree that 10-20% of the maximum speed is not acceptable...

Thanks

Of course not, there is something wrong as per my test results over the "same" infrastructure. PM me your account details and let's try straight into the CPE.

I have been trying to upgrade my service to 200/200 (CISP) since yesterday ... but not really getting anywhere. Anyone from Cool Ideas who can be of assistance and give answers to my 100's of questions? My service currently indicates a "cancelled" status on the F/Hoods portal ... which doesn't seem correct to me. Any assistance would be appreciated. @PBCool - any suggestions?

Yeah unfortunately everyone on the fibrehoods / Vumatel aerial side there is a backlog. Please email [email protected] stating you would like to upgrade and aren't able to via the fibrehoods portal.

Ticket logged since yesterday morning with CISP. Still no joy (yet)!

@PBCool since my Complex are being completely daft and declining Octotel to install anymore they are now going with Vodacom. Please tell me you guys have something in the near future with a more reasonable FUP that will work with them. If not i am rather sticking to ADSL

Tried to upgrade from 100/100 to 200/200 on Cool Ideas / Vumatel and I got "Unfortunately, this offer is not available in your area" from the Vumatel shop. Huh?

Tried again and I get "You have already requested a cancellation for your previous order." so I guess I'm stuck in some weird state now :(

EDIT: Note this is Vumatel not Vumatel Aerial so I don't think it's related to the VA / Fibrehoods issues, but maybe I'm wrong?

Yeah, I got the same error. I logged a ticket with CISP about this. They are trying to sort my account out.

BOOM!!!

So, what was done differently in the end? Or did you just have to wait.

S hut up and wait basically but I'm pretty sure Fibrehoods had done the hardware upgrades yesterday already. I noticed my upload went from the usual 50mb to 100mb at around 5pm.

Cool Ideas just put me on the 200/20 profile on their end about 20 minutes ago and.... BOOM!!!

I subscribed to the 200/200 profile though so there's an error in config there... Waiting on Paul to resolve...

I cant seem to find the 200/20 package on coolideas or vumatel portal ;-[

Happy days! 200/200 up and running on CISP!

Everything working here too after CISP manually upgraded me. CoolZone (as well as my download / upload speeds :D) are reflecting 200 Mbps, although the Vumatel shop still thinks I'm on 100 Mbps.

(Download is a bit low here, but this is an international test, and I think it would have gone higher if the test ran for longer; window scaling over high latency connections is sometimes iffy)

For those interested, I'm running TCP BBR on my computer as well as the Cake AQM on my router; I'm ratelimiting a bit below line speed for better bufferbloat control and which is why I'm not actually reaching 200 Mbps even on the Vumatel speed test. Probably can get it closer with some more tweaking that I was too lazy to do right now

It usually bursts, so feel free to set it to 199Mbps.
