Cool Ideas Fibre ISP - Feedback

@PBCool , is there a Vumatel issue in Randburg? My connection keeps dropping and it then fails to obtain an IP from the Vumatel DHCP server.

I'm on Vuma trenched.

If it's not on the announcements page then it's nothing we're aware of, please log it with support. Call it in tomorrow morning if urgent.
 
@PBCool Is there a known issue with Netstream? I've opened a ticket, I'm at The Pinnacle in Douglasdale; Since 5PM when the power went out, I've had no connectivity.
 
Last night twitch was great. Don't know if its coincidence or if CISP changed something but it pretty flawless.

Yeah when people moan about Twitch, I also struggle with mega.nz
From this morning it was perfectly fine, I got most of my backups done, doing the rest now and its all flowing nicely.

@PBCool, please give ticket COOL-20181214-190087 some love on Tuesday. I really need it my son is driving me mad :ROFL:

Sure I don't think anyone is processing manual upgrades until Tuesday.

You live in Cape Town by chance?

*EDIT Twitch is working flawlessly again tonight. ON A SUNDAY. That's a big deal for me. If that is because of a CISP change well done.

Yup I live in Cape Town.
Access to Mega.nz still flying.. Shifting 7GB+ disk images up no problem

I think it has more to do with it being holiday now. Same reason there's no loadshedding.
 
Having an issue with my current order which doesn't seem to moving anywhere :(

Frogfoot completed the last-mile last week. Service light is lit on the GigaPoint wall box. Frogfoot can see this and can see the serial number of the box.

However, according to them, the order with Cool Ideas is still listed as pending, and needs to be moved to the correct status before proceeding (i.e. me being sent the router)?

Very frustrating to know my fibre service is basically active but can't use it because of a small admin problem. And my ADSL line keeps dropping :( :( :(

Have you received your login credentials from CISP yet? If so, use your existing ADSL router to complete the setup. Your ADDL router should have a WAN port though, just double check.
