Your JHB Speedtest.net server is rip.
Which server is this?
Not quite, some JNB users would use that route if it's closest, IE anything from Teracos side, anything closer to JINX would route that way.

From Cape Town it looks like this to cisp.co.za, thats not the concern with packetloss though but here you go. Not sure why hop5 timeout but there is no packetloss to cisp.co.za.

Although this server on very different IP than most hetzner servers. Its ancient.
Well this asymmetric routing might be half the issue.

Any of you guys having issues with Netflix stream quality? Im on CISPs 100/100 package; streaming at 480±less than 720. It's horrible.
Edit: Fast.com shows me getting 360Kbps..

What happens with a normal speedtest and obviously over cable?
Hi
Yea, obviously over cable. Normal speedtest to your Randburg server I get ±40Mbps
Possibly a line fault then, please log with us on support@cisp.co.za
Which server is this?
Still having the issue?
Yeap was a router failure in the hosting portion, first we did a firmware upgrade which resolved the issue for a few hours but then the issue returned. The device was replaced this morning. This is your ookla speedtest server in Randburg. the same one we have been doing test for weeks against. it came back up and the jitter ping is still down. seems there is an issue on your network or on that server as all the pings drop from around the world. I still have the sensor running and got a notification when it failed.
