Anyone else who had packetloss to hetzner could you check to 129.232.238.251 if you are also getting 0% packetloss now.

I believe the issue has been resolved, my results clean as a whistle.
 
Fibre line was installed 2 days ago by Openserve. I only get 3.8 mbps on a 100/50 setup. First support ticket to Cool Ideas was closed with the response that I should not test speed over Wifi, which my message clearly stated I was not. Phoned them again yesterday (hold times are atrocious btw) and the operator indicated they sent an email to Openserve but had no response. An email ... really? Operator promised to get feedback and get back to me, that didn't happen either.
Created another incident last night, please guys get this resolved. There is a reason I do the line rental through you...

I haven't actually done a MTR again but while it's definitely way better now, I am still getting spikes of 3% loss when playing csgo on servers hosted at hetzner
 
What are local pings in CPT like on Octotel? and to the EU know its 25ms+ local CPT on Openserve. Thanks for any traceroutes!

Well you're supposed to do both :). So we can then confirm you have applied with us. As they bill us once the line has been provisioned onto our network.

@blacklung That 9% packet loss is quite concerning...

Its probably a lot less than 9%, considering 1 ping out of 11 was lost, and also because he was doing that on wireless, could be his wireless instead of the fibre.

To give you an idea, I am also in Cape Town on CISP, although on Vumatel and look at this to the same destination:

Was on cable direct from the pfsense box. Probably once off anomaly, just as the other members of the family started to see if the fibre "really really ;) works ".

Hmm interesting. Your latency on the fibre is higher than mine. I will write it off to Octotel using PPPoE where Vumatel uses direct routing without PPPoE session. PPPoE runs in software on the router, where with Vumatel routing is all in hardware mode on a router.
