You aren't alone bud, I got it too.

Trying to play some Quake Champions internationally buy can't even play a bot match without being disconnected 5 times in one match before it ended. Don't know what's going on with the routing, but something is definitely up. Twitch and other streaming is perfect, but getting packet loss in games.

Luckily I have the luxury of switching ISP accounts, to my Vox account I go (for now) while things improve on the CISP side.

I saw there was a notice for frogfoot maintenance today. Tonight I can stream twitch flawlessly...let's hope it stays that way! Dunno if it's related though..

Gonna downgrade to 100/100 ( at least save some moola ) and see if this issue ever gets fixed :cautious:.

If your build is fine it works I saw no difference between my home internet than what I experienced in Spain

Land line is booked for the 11th... have order number at last. Let's hope its good copper so I can use the VDSL.
I have nothing to say further about Octotel or CISP. All it does is make me look like a serial complainer/moaner. Will ride out my last few days with them.

I'm with neither so it's sometimes just luck of the draw.

Lekker D3 runs at 180ms latency last night...

different game, but i saw increased latency on pubg to eu servers from cpt. For some reason it was routing through google in jhb, so i must assume the servers i connected to were hosted through google? I saw this behaviour with fortnite on south american servers too a few weeks back.

Yeah there was a VDSL line in this house, luckily, so I am quite keen about it. The copper is also very good at the house, not sure between the DP and the exchange but let's see.
I do know that ADSL in this area is rock solid. Most people went to FTTH and dumped their landlines, so I am feeling good about this

I had VDSL in the area, 40MB - line sync'd at 60MB which was a bit weird. Never had an issue - good luck!

I'll decide what to do near the end of my notice period next month - either another ISP - or another internet tech.

Yup, mine is back up in Sunningdale already. Will compare notes here later tonight, but my streaming is still rock solid.

Streaming is rather immune to packet loss due to buffering, especially if you have a fast connection. Gaming would be the most sensitive to packet loss since you can't buffer that.

Previous owner just let me know she had 20Mbit VDSL and asked me if I wanted the router as she was going to toss it.
