Cool Ideas Fibre ISP - Feedback

Quick question: I am planning to move within the same neighborhood that has Firebhoods coverage (A few 100m down the road- Craighall Park).

1) Do I need to pay the installation fee since Fibrehoods is no longer a thing, and 2) Do I loose my Fibrehoods pricing in favor of the Vumatel one?

If there is no line in the new place you will need to pay the installation fee, Yes new orders are all aligned to Vumatel aerial.

Nope, all new orders are as per the Vumatel conditions owning the network. Everyone gets re-aligned in January 2018.
 
Great. Now just need to rush my install, PBCool will my existing order be 100/100 or will it be 200/200 since you have not had the packages when i requested install. Also will my order be placed at back of queue if it gets upgraded to 200/200?

Great news, OpenServe was here today as planned and issued me with a new circuit number.

I changed mine on the day of installation, get in contact with your guy that manage the install from CISP side, then its installed at the correct speed!

Thanks did just that, and he said might be changed on install day or 1 day after. More then acceptable very happy that CISP did this can't wait for that 200/200 goodness but line only Live @ End of August so still some wait

Hi guys, I'm super new to this fibre thing.

Everyone is in need for speed, 100up and 100 down sounds awesome!

What I want to gather info is, is it really necessary to have high upload speed?

I torrent and I like to seed for a long time (To be fair)
I game online, either on PC or console. Hardly upload videos, nor do I upload files to servers etc. Just download more....

Do you guys think 100/25 is enough?

Should be more then enough for my specific use i stream to Twitch/Youtube at the same time and run a few servers at home currently i have a 50/20 MBps Wireless connection and it's not cutting it i stream at 1080p60 so it consumes about 10-12MBps on its own then you get to 4k Youtube uploads and files get rather large so depends on what you use it for. Normal torrents should be fine you should get a solid 2MB/s upload with enough peers and around 9.8MB/s on steam downloads if not more! so hence more traffic down would suit your purpose! you can always upgrade later if its not enough
 
@PBCool , just a couple questions:

My Vumatal line is being installed on 25 July. Should I order from your website before the installation or will this just confuse the process? I know that you can order the service through the Vumatal portal once the line is in, so is there a benifit to ordering on the CISP website too?
