Getting latency spikes on the third hop.

Can be bloody annoying when playing games.

Is this temporary?

Latency along the path has nothing to do with the destination latency. This is normal for firewalls/routers to drop a percentage of ICMP for security reasons. Your end latency looks ok?

Looks like he is getting hit with 1% packetloss, as a gamer I can completely understand the sort of frustration even 1% tend to give.

I ran icmp and winmtr test on my coolideas fiber and not getting any packetloss along the way , I am going through different hops 13 in total to that destination. Also I can confirm that there is no icmp packetdrops along the path on my test.

I am not going through that 197.96.214.112 or ore1b-dock-ten-0-4-3-0.ip.isnet.net which might be the cause of your packetloss. :/

Yeap it should be, we have processes in place for the normal application route.

Will you confirm if you collected it on Saturday? Or during the week?

If you opt to change it by collecting I can do my best to make sure this happens but it's a unique request and so these things can fall through the cracks. Again I apologise.

Cool Ideas Fiber ISP - Feedback

My internet isn't working. Roosevelt side, anyone else?

@PBCool I'm guessing this is because I switched packages?

The problem is the occasional spike in latency.

i.e. playing Overwatch... everything is great at 180ms... then for a few seconds it jumps to 260ms, and up and down before it stabilizes again. It absolutely destroys the experience.

This is a new problem that started yesterday. How can we resolve?

Something odd is happening speedtest and fast.com test show's my dl speed is averaging around 8-15Mbps on my 100/100 line... I am connected with a cable to the router

Send PBCool a pm with your location and ip, I suspect you might be having same issue our area had yesterday morning that PBCool resolved quickly.

The network is quite complex and so it's often not just the same fix as it was for one segment :)

Do you have the IP of the server for me?

Not sure off hand, upgrades or downgrades would generally be seamless. Please chat to support.

Just a quick follow up, no rush, I submitted my rica documents online about a month or more ago but they still show "We have received your RICA documents and are reviewing them." Can one of the guys please approve them for me? Thanks!

Thanks for letting me know, your router was pre-configured and was ready but the receptionist gave you an un-boxed one. Your configured one was nearly couriered the day your line was marked as active by fibrehoods. Which is why you got an un-configured router, apologies.
