So what is wrong with your connection?
Small issues... I am concerned about the packet loss.. and its not my FTTH connection its inside of CISP's network.
I am also worried about how well CISP is going to scale as client load increases...

We have been scaling since day one, it's not something new to us. Do you have an MTR? Some of our cores drop a % of ICMP traffic but this doesnt affect the connection to your destination.

If that is the case then I am obviously too perfectionistic.

Since it is UDP traffic its mostly something I am not going to complain about. The TCP connections work and reliably so. I am not sure about the issue with mega.nz but I will delve deep for that one because its also now doing it on the backup Telkom LTE as of today.

I don't have any other issues at this time, my video conference went swimmingly well today, finally I can see my bosses in HD

If i remember correctly PBCool mentioned that they cant take a line over from Telkom. If that is the case then your friend will have to apply for a new line. Also they will have to go through the pain of trying to cancel the one that is with Telkom and we all know how that goes.

I might be wrong though.

Hypothetically, if my friend cancels telkom and they cancel it, how long do they sit with a dead line?

Sorry still trying to catch up, moving from Telkom is a bit of a process. But basically needs to get the line cancelled with Telkom, get us a date for the cancellation and let connect know once you apply with us.

Sometimes no time at all, sometimes a few days. It just depends on Openserve really.

Continuously losing connection and coming back up a few seconds later since about lunchtime. Is there a general problem or should I be calling support?

Hi mate. My internet is totally down in the Gallo Manor/ Strathavon area. Any idea if there is a disruption?

Who or what is a "connect"?
