Oh guys, don't forget loadshedding is back. Stage 2 today... and as i say that there goes my power
 
Feedback Octotel 100/25. After Octotel did maintenance in the Cape Gate area, streaming has been pretty much flawless. I am sure whatever was wrong, is fixed now.

I can promise you I'm getting one on one support with therodent, trying to diagnose our (Southern Suburbs) issue with his little black box that's plugged into my ONT. He's running tests constantly.

So hopefully we'll get this sorted soon. I miss twitch man :(
 
I’m having issues streaming RD again. I can’t even stream a 2gb file. I used to be able to stream 20gb files. Things not looking good for CISP right now because I’m on Vuma Aerial not Octotel.

Single threaded international speedtests are really bad.
 
Yea guess you did not read thread before commenting.
Don't have the details …. sure you can ask, or shock horror log a call to find out.

We chase the CTO daily there is no higher person at Octotel to deal with, of course we dont want customers cancelling we have a decent investment in each new signup. WebAfrica are also having the same issues so there is lots of pressure on Octotel to resolve their issues. Regarding Vumatel they have advised that there are scheduled upgrades they are busy with, even though they have said there shouldn't be any impact until then, but who knows.

What you trying to stream? Let me see if it's working on Home-connect. Home-connect international has been complete garbage. In addition to that they've inherited the iperf anomaly effecting my line. 3 weeks now I been jumping through hoops for them... nada. I also see they've pulled the 1Gbps account option on their website and Vumatels. Teething problems perhaps?
 
Any one perhaps have any issues with a USG running the PPPOE connecting on TT Connect, every morning like clock work my download speed goes to 0mbps to any site, however tracerts seem fine, but my upload stays at line speed. MTU set at 1436... but the standard w840n works fine... assume it's some setting on the USG.
