FYI, fibre plans coming along nicely. This is our own FTTH deployment.

Forecasted numbers indicate around min 50 person signup (house, apartment, flat, complex - it doesn't matter but we have certain density targets) and a rate of R499 per month for a 100Mbps fibre line.

Seem reasonable?

Seems so.

What sort of caps would one get for that price?

Oh, ok.

Sounds good to me then.

If I could I'd take an offer like that in a heart beat - wired internet without any interference from Telkom? Yes please.

No. Not acceptable! Because I am stuck with Telkom! :(

Just wondering, does anyone else who monitors their line speed/downloads see a speed cut of about half between 12am and 1am?
Happens consistently every day as I'm sure its because that’s when the pipes are opened to everyone.
Just wondering if I’m the only one who sees this or if its a general thing?

Haven't monitored mine in a while, but I think it is normal. It happened to me as well.

Pipes open on our side and on your Telkom exchange typically. Congests briefly on either then reverts to normal thereafter...

Portal update: going to push this out to tomorrow at this point as I want final sign off from QA before we do anything at all...

Yup, I'm not complaining at all. Was just checking to see if it was a me thing or a general thing.

Otherwise my account has been amazing. Not sure what you guys have done in the past few weeks with Twitch streaming, but it couldn't be better. :)

After all this time I still can't watch twitch.tv on source on the site :'( Everything else on CW runs perfect though :) Just wish something could be done about twitch.tv. Some people on CW have no problems with source apparently :O It's my only gripe on an otherwise great service.

Twitch is perfect on my side as well. Sounds like the issue is on your side.

Or you're watching different streams entirely, and as previously mentioned Twitch is notorious for their unreliability in their various pieces of infrastructure that they've tried to stick together...
