Well I see that every other ISP and their mother has now jumped on the uncapped between 00:00 - 06:00 bandwagon. Good thing. Offers more value to customers.

#portalgate

So where we are is we are busy importing data into the master DB at the moment. We identified an issue with some of the error handling code, so when the integration hits an error some data was ignored. Therefore usage for example was not correlating correctly with the radius server usage. We've fixed it and have to reimport everything for thousands and thousands of customers for every single session for every single hour of every single day this month. In order to avoid DDOSing the servers we have to rate limit the calls, meaning it's going to take a while to get all of this new data into the database. Once completed, we pass to QA, and then deploy.

There are a few customers with access already, in a closed group who volunteered for user testing. We'll open this to more and more users, and we will be deploying once this import and QA process is done...

It's a win-win in my book. I need to buy far less "all time" data so I can move to a smaller capped package, which saves me cash.

ISPs utilize their excess capacity during that time and hopefully it alleviates pressure from the network during peak times as people schedule their downloads, leaving more capacity for real time services.

249ms to a NA server ....... absolutely the lowest I've ever seen it to this game. Please do carry on! :D

Why don't you try accessing the live chat from your phone? Maybe they have issues with their phones.

My internet died, and I've been holding on for more than 30min trying to get through to your support line!

WTF guys
Hey Vero. Support on the weekend is until 5pm but PM me your username and I'll personally check into this for you quickly...

Edit: from a Crystal Web network perspective there's no downtime at all at the moment anywhere so this is in all likelihood a Telkom related issue. But I'm happy to see what I can pick up for you...

Hey Vero. Found your details. Saw a Telkom port issue but no related faults, so I've reset the port for you. When you read this please reboot your modem and let me know. Will PM you too in case you miss this...

Mine died at the same time as Veroland, but it just came on again.

Suspect there was a Telkom issue for a few minutes. Everything well on our side. FYI, for out of office hours support I will always try to assist from here time permitting...

Will your new portal allow this functionality?

WA has the ability to drop connections via the portal. Not sure if that is the same thing though.
