And that's why 99% of CW customers don't care about price versus other less honest and full of problems providers imo ......
 
Thanks for the last two posts. Nice knowing you guys are honest about things. What I was getting at though was that surely a capped product will receive higher priority on the network than an uncapped product? Although being unshaped is an illusion, capped customers won't stand for any particular protocol not performing optimally at any given moment. Especially when all ISPs claim that their capped accounts are unshaped. Even you guys list a feature of the capped accounts as priority bandwidth, which is not claimed for Home Premium Uncapped.

The bold text is what I was wondering as well. Considering moving from a premium uncapped account to a capped account, I'd expect the same, if not better, delivery any and all time of day.

On a side note (and off topic): is this reasoning of capped vs uncapped delivery still relevant?

Mr. Not Paul Hjul, will yesterday's announcement be delayed another day? I'm looking forward to getting an answer to my questions :)

We've hit a bit of a snag on announcing one or two things. Will be this week on various announcements but committing to exact dates is causing more hassles that result in more delays. We're going to be releasing more information this week about a ton of new things happening and available.

And now for a question that's probably best suited for live support, but likely someone here knows... I'll probably be running out of cap this month due to special circumstances. What are my options for topping up my cap or temporarily extending my cap this month?

I had to top up last month and it was a flat R5/Gb. You pick the amount.

I had to top up last month and it was a flat R5/Gb. You pick the amount.

I remember you can upgrade to the next available capped package for the rest of this month, pay the difference and still be on your original package next month.

Did this change CW?

There is no portal at this stage. It is still in development as they redesigning everything.

Signed up for a free account to test their network to see if latencies really are lower, as it could perhaps help me. Low and behold the free accounts only go up to 10Mb/s.

Now I am getting 2x usage notification emails per day which I never asked for, and when I wanted to log into the portal to see if there was some way to disable it, I find out there is no portal.

Will just mark it as spam then.

I understand them limiting the test account, and latency isn't affected by line speed so it's understandable.

And if you just ask live chat they will disable the e-mails. 99% of the things you want to do can be done with live chat.
