Thanks. I tried that earlier. Does not accept my password. All I can think is that they changed my password again without letting me know. If I wanted to struggle like this, I would go back to Openweb.

Anyone else struggling to get connected? Using the new password that I got yesterday and suddenly it does not work anymore.
Cause something at that hop is bad. Probably congestion.
First hop is your router
Second hop is either an exchange or dslam
Not really. The times are hop to hop. So one can be congested and the others are fine. You latency is the worst hop.Yes, but if there was congestion, then all the hops after hop 2 would also suffer.

That's the way I understand it....if I am wrong, please correct me

Thanks!You're wrong.
Times are cumulative at each hop.
The slow one in that case is because of an overloaded device (as opposed to an overloaded link) that takes too long to generate a TTL expired message. Normal traffic is passed through more quickly (something called FastPath).
Blizzard has been under a DDOS attack for the last couple of days.
It's a worldwide scourge
I've had disconnects in HS.I haven't noticed any issues with Battle.net or Hearthstone.
I've decided this is the route I'm going for monitoring my usage. I think I'll prefer this option in the long run, after watching some Youtube videos on this particular option, other cheaper popular options and the current functionality of the Fritz!Boxes (before firmware alteration by CW).
1st purchase - Ubiquiti UniFi Security Gateway (R2135):

2nd purchase - Ubiquiti UniFi Cloud Key (R1795):

The first device relegates my router to being purely a modem, and unlocks all the extra functionality currently locked in my existing Ubiquiti interface that only contains APs atm. This includes wireless and wired user reporting, historical reporting, deep packet inspection and all sorts of nifty stats about the network.
The downside to that gateway is that it requires a PC running the UniFi controller at all times. Fortunately the UniFi Cloud Key replaces the need for a PC, as it runs the UniFi controller. As a nifty extra perk, it lets you access and control your network from anywhere.
What you guys think?
I ordered both of those on Thursday. Expecting it by next Friday![]()
Re the second device, apparently the controller s/w can be run on a raspberry pi - so that's a cheaper option (not done it myself but there are support articles available)I find it a little ridiculous that the Gateway doesn't run the controller and that they sell you a whole separate product to do that.
Just seems like a not-so-cheap cash in by Ubnt.

Yeah but I would seriously expect a Gateway to be a stand alone device.
WTF.
For the money you might as well get a Sophos UTM device then.
You can run the controller on a PC. You don't need a cloud key.

Hmm, i just had that as well. My router just lost connection, and my internet light went red. Reboot and it was okay again, but that happened about 3 or 4 times. Tried both my Afrihost and CW trial account. So im praying its not again a line issue. Are there any known issues on the network? For the first time ever, the "internet" light on my router is red. Will phone support after 8:00.
