Why is mine syncing at full speed though? I also had the issue a few evenings ago of it syncing at lower speeds, but it was soon back to normal.

Just genuinely curious, as I thought all of the lines not managed by Telkom (for CW customers) were stuck at 2Mb/s in the holding pool.

I'm guessing that they're fixing the lines manually, one by one. Hence some being fixed before others. That or they missed some, but I prefer to hope for the former.

Openserve have confirmed that all but 45 lines should be syncing correctly now. If your line is not syncing correctly, please unplug your router for 5 minutes from the power entirely, and then plug back in again. If you are not connecting at the correct speed thereafter, your line may be part of the 45 that Openserve are busy working on to restore full speeds, and which we are working tirelessly together with Openserve on to restore. Further updates to the 45 affected users are to follow from this channel as we receive updates or as we are able to manually intervene where possible.

After my ADSL line dropping a big handful of times the past 10 minutes, it seems I'm now back on 10Mbps.

So... While my line speed is indeed now back to 10Mbps, my throughput is still limited to 2Mbps. No matter how hard I try to push my internet connection with simultaneous downloads/Youtube/whatever, I get no more than 2Mbps of data through the line. WTF?
