Some advice please

What is the lowest crystal web package that will allow me to stream content (kodi)? Will the 4Mbps home capped be suffice, in terms of speed?

Thanks

Twitch performance is really starting to get annoying. Works and then buffers, refresh page, it works again. Rinse and repeat.
Anyone else having issues?

Can't say I am. Source running flawlessly.

Which stream are you watching? I can check on my side.

Yep use to be able to watch twitch on High on 10MB line, past few days struggled on Low. Browsing also felt sluggish, even though my line seems stable.

Kodi did that all weekend as well. Was streaming on one stream that was buffering at 19.5kB/s or thereabouts - yes, VERY bad quality, I know - and it worked for like 20 or 30 minutes, and then just started buffering the hell out of it. Other streams at around 65/70kB/s did the same thing.

Kodi is not a source. It's an app that connects to various sources, most of which are horrid quality sources with next to zero resources on the serves and network they deliver on.

Network was 100% unshaped this weekend, and has been for some time...

Exactly, all the more reason it shouldn't buffer that much - which it didn't use to. No matter what, it shouldn't buffer at 1/10th of my maximum line speed, especially if it happened on all different sources which were completely unrelated to each other.

If it's buffering at 1/10th you can be sure it has nothing to do with our network then. :)

Or it has everything to do with your network. They worked fine before. And your network is the only common denominator - except for Kodi, which is also a version I have used for an extended period.

Different sources, same problem - see what I'm getting at?

Certainly do for premium news server access if the product qualifies.

Not sure I'm understanding the question here...

I'm on your capped product and use to have a account to connect to the CW news server, been having authentication issues lately and now I've been advised by support that I should try and connect to another CW news server with no authentication :|

The only other news server you can use on CW is the IS one.

My settings: news.isdsl.net with port 119 and 4 connections.
