Oddly, I've not been seeing anything above 180kbps on the newsserver for 2 nights now and sometimes as low as 30kbps. Starts full but only stays like that for 20 seconds or so. Everything else is going like the clappers after midnight and speedtests all show nothing wrong and it's not really bugging me too much. More just curious if anyone else is seeing similar, especially Kzn'ers.

Torrents running at just under 200KB/s on a 10mb line. Not great, but it's not urgent so don't care about it too much.

Had full speeds yesterday though.

I'm on Home Capped.

I have a torrent running at 700kbps, my line syncs at 7mbps. I'm in Durb's too and it's running like the clappers!

Edit: Forgot to mention I'm on capped too.

That seems about right. Depends also sometimes on the seeds I've noticed.
 
Picked up an issue in DBN late last night. Seeing a few anomalies we'll try to get sorted out asap...
 
Huzzah :D

Ping got sorted overnight though, I logged in about an hour ago and I was back to that sexy sub 260ms again. That made my Saturday ..... now just the ruggers.
 
Anyone know what happened to the portal access that were going to get sent out?

Edit: Never mind, found the portal on the site and just used my registered email address and account password.

Whose idea was it to have light grey text on a darker grey background on the portal login page?

Can you give your router a reboot please? There was a temporary authentication issue which has already been resolved...
 
Can't load MyBB on CW at this moment in time, I just get this -

The server at mybroadband.co.za can't be found, because the DNS lookup failed. DNS is the network service that translates a website's name to its Internet address. This error is most often caused by having no connection to the Internet or a misconfigured network. It can also be caused by an unresponsive DNS server or a firewall preventing Google Chrome from accessing the network.

I can check a few other sites quick to see if it's isolated or not.

No problem. Should be no more issues for the next hour, although upon investigation we may need to push an update to all customer connections later today which will result in a temporary disconnection (for about 1min), which I will try to manually force at around 4am (so you can plan your gaming if you're expecting a rather late one tonight).

Logs show some customer accounts disconnected and were down for around 10min from between 11:10 and 11:20 this evening.

If anyone is reading this and your connection has not restored, please simply reboot your router. If this still doesn't help, please power cycle your router, which requires you to disconnect the power cable entirely for 10 minutes and then plug back in and switch on. If you continue to have a connection problem after performing the previous steps, please contact our live chat support desk in the morning to assist further...

Reboot, then if this fails, power cycle. If the problem remains, let me know by PM so I can look into it further. Before sending the PM, please change to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 for your DNS, flush your DNS, and reboot the router again to be sure.

Looks like it's going to be another Sunday of no sleep for me...:cry:

No, go sleep you mad person you, yikes! Tried a reboot but MyBB and Sharksworld.co.za are no go's just on CW. Not even bothered at this ungodly hour, was just posting a comment for the morning, lol.

Have to work on the issue to push updates at 4am in any case. I edited the previous post. Follow the instructions and let me know. I'll be here all morning by the looks of things...
