No, go sleep you mad person you, yikes! Tried a reboot but MyBB and Sharksworld.co.za are no go's just on CW. Not even bothered at this ungodly hour, was just posting a comment for the morning, lol.

Can't get onto MyBB either, but did not try the reboot option as I'm off to bed.

I take it you managed to post using an alternate DNS or alternate ISP account? Can you advise which one before you head off?
 
Had some DNS issues downloading GearCM from renderserver.net.

Rebooting my router seems to have fixed the issue.
 
Whose idea was it to have light grey text on a darker grey background on the portal login page?

Also, I don't have a login yet.

Yeah that's terrible, I agree. Will be amending this later today and getting any "lost mails" out as well where guys don't yet have a portal login...
 
Can you switch back to our DNS, then reboot your router and all connected devices please?

Notice to all customers:

If you are experiencing any issues with your connection today, please power cycle your modem (disconnected from the power CABLE entirely for minimum 10 minutes) and then switch back on. After doing this, please reboot all connected devices. Should push the fix we are implementing (and the temp fix we already have implemented) that caused the temp disconnect this evening. Apologies to the few customers who were affected by this. Luckily I caught it early and we've been able to solve it before it even really became an issue...

Will be constantly over the coming days. Should have this all resolved today still.

Hi guys. Problem in JHB. A reboot solves the issue but we will be replacing the network cards in the next hour as an emergency repair process and downtime is expected for this, but will be short lived. Will update shortly...
 
Ok, I feel like I'm going nuts. My CW account has been crazy since Sunday. My line seems stable but my router says it's connected but I constantly have to reboot it to achieve any throughout on the connection. Sometimes it works for an hour, most of the time it only works for 15 minute bursts. Last night, at about 10pm, it completely disconnected. My Cybersmart based account was working fine when I tested it though, confirming that the line was seemingly fine. This morning it was working again, though it was temperamental like it was on Sunday. This afternoon I saw DJ's advice regarding the 10 minute power cycle. That seemed to solve the problem, it was going strong for the rest of the afternoon and evening. Now at 10pm again, I lose all connection again though the line is stable and working with other accounts. Am I going crazy? Am I the only one experiencing this kind of problem? I'm on home premium capped. My friend is on home premium uncapped, and she's had no problems whatsoever.

Edit: never mind. It seems like others posted as I was typing my message. On another possibly related/unrelated note, I am unable to log onto the new beta usage site, it keeps on refreshing the sign in page once I enter my username and password.

Busy replacing hardware now. Intermittent connectivity can be expected during this time but we'll try to keep it to a minimum. Only impacting customers in the North (JHB, Free State, Mpumalanga, Limpopo, North West) and expected behaviour is loss of connectivity which is temporarily solved with a reboot. This can be expected for the next 2 hours or so as complete debugging, repair, replacement, and testing happens.

Our network notices have been updated to reflect this.

I will keep the network notices and MyBB up to date on this...
