I agree.

Some new representation here would be amazing. Or atleast some other platform or method of communicating directly with customers wanting to know what is coming down the line.
 
NZB traffic shaped to **** atm on my capped account.

Really sucks that I cannot actually use my cap during daytime hours.

Just did, they advised I reboot my router. apparently i've been connected for 410 hours.

Can anyone please update me on what the latest news wrt Crystalweb is?
Last I was in here there was talk of data roll over, a new portal etc but it doesn't look like any of that has happened..

Pretty much everyone here is waiting for those updates bud.
 
My line has been screwed since late last night. :(

At first it wouldn't stay up more than half an hour, but now it barely stays up 10 seconds. So no internet.

I've tried using Afrihost and Web Africa details but it's still broken, so not an ISP issue. Initially I wondered if it wasn't a router issue, as the router was totally unresponsive and inaccessible over the network when the internet crashed, but now the router is even getting red lights. Sigh. Logged a fault with Telkom and now I wait.

Telkom's fibre destroys ADSL and VDSL. Latency is far lower and connectivity issues are once in a blue moon. Both local and international, but especially for gaming on overseas servers. Web browsing was noticeably snappier for me even.

I've seen routers do weird things when there are line issues.
 
After things came right earlier, I just had another internet meltdown. Router unresponsive and line dead for all intents and purposes. It's back up now after a reboot, but if it behaves like last night then I'm in for many disconnects. :mad:

Well I certainly hope nothing is wrong with my router. It's a R1.8k Zyxel SBG3300-N and handles fibre and VDSL.

I doubt it's your router and more likely a line problem, although it wouldn't hurt to have another to test with. Is your SNR etc fluctuating? Keep an eye on that.

Hmm I love my Crystal Web, but a 200GB capped 20MB account for virtually the same money as my 4 MB Uncapped seems like a no brainier right now.
