I will become a customer when this happens.

So the portal is the main reason you're missing out on the best performance on the market? I don't believe that.

What do you need from the portal specifically, as everything you'd get there, is covered in other ways anyway.
 
I am sorry. For a long time we were willing to look the other way wrt small issues like the portal that was not working. Then CW leaked our info and password (OK not them, but "some contractor that worked" with them) I felt that they were negligent with our personal info, but let it go. Now, It happens again and we are just expected to take it again. Lets face it: We pay a premium price every month to get a premium service. Only one problem - I don't feel that i am getting that service any more. We trusted CW and they failed us again. OOPS. The damage is done. I am seriously looking at other options.

I think you misunderstood me. My rant was not is response to your post. The lack of portal does not hold me back at all. It is however, a bit of a irritation, that when combined with the previous, and second password leaks, makes me lose trust in CW.

I for one, would like to monitor usage, sessions, see when bandwidth is being used.
Update email address, accounting email address and see what personal info CW has of me.
Also, if my line is with CW, I would like to login, do a port reset and view the ADSL stats.
I am not always at home and would then rely on the portal.

OK the session usage is probably because you're on capped, so I get and agree with that. But you can request the rest on live chat.

Oh. I feel the same of course. But I was just stating that, whilst currently having grievances with CW, it wasn't related to the portal at all.

I guess I'm lucky to be on uncapped where I don't need session usage stats etc.

I agree. These are all feature that you would expect to find, but that we have been doing without out of loyalty to CW.

I spoke to online chat, asked to reset my password, but i havent received an sms to reset. I know i only have a trial account, but can CW rep assist?

what the actual ........ I hope these pr11cks are caught out and not only banned by mybb but criminally charged. Enough is enough.
 
Yeah it's pretty obvious that it's someone from here. I think this is way past ****s and giggles stage now. Someone obviously has a massive grudge against CW and is actively trying to damage their image.

I really hope you guys can track the little **** down, but the SAPS being what they are I know that's probably easier said than done.

I honestly feel that of what data I have seen from the PM the user sent everyone - as well as the amount of time it has taken you to respond on this forum - probably because you are doing your own investigation before anything else - I wouldn't call it a "minor breach".

That's just how I see it.

I agree, problem is they just use throw away accounts when posting/sending all the pm's. And if they are half way intelligent they would use a VPN when creating the throw away accounts. Which will make it very difficult to find not only who they are but their actual location.

Mate, this happens to the best of companies. CW is obviously being targeted by someone with malicious intent. I'm worried too but this isn't something that happens to ISPs regularly. I doubt most other ISPs have better security.
 
Yeah, 4170 user account details sent to what looks like everyone who's ever touched CrystalWeb on MyBB, maybe even more... Sounds like a bit more than just a minor breach.
 
... here's the thing, who ever did this knew how to troll through the CW thread also, and extract all viewers/contributors.
and he did it the last day/2.
