Telkom is coming to check the local exchange on Wednesday and then we will hopefully know where the latency problem lies - with them or IS(Crystal Web). Will post here when I get feedback from them.

Downloading and streaming remain awesome but I cannot take the broken gaming. Will bet testing other isp's and make a decision after. Just no feedback on any issues is getting to me.

well I had telkom here 2 days ago and he said 100% no exchange issues for me, so I'm going with IS

What did CW say is the problem with your gaming?

sweet nada ..... 2x mtr, will escalate and zip since.

It's worse when it's a mess for a few days, then fine again and then mess again and I'm over it, whoever is at fault.

Edit - I'm going with line issue more this time but I still want/need some feedback from CW :(

Haven't been using my CW account since the beginning of the month because I've been getting bad latency in overwatch. Just popped my CW account back in and still the same (290ms ping compared to Vox's 170). When is this getting fixed?

Definitely something wrong ...

I am on a test account (the same account type though) and I only get 5mbps throughput (90% of the time)

When I have twitch open it uses around 3mbps and then youtube caps out at 2mbps and I cannot stream both ... ... So there is definitely an issue somewhere

Tomorrow night on chat, I will ask for a capped test account and see what happens ... (if they can do that)

In an effort to save myself from reading through the last 20 pages, can anyone update me on the latest at CW.
Is the security breach finally plugged? I can handle 1 leak but so far we have had 2 - I don't need a 3rd. The fact that my email address and password was blasted all over Reddit did not help my paranoia....
Also the any news on the portal, last I read it was supposed to be sort of ready by the end of September, it's the 11th of October...
And the usage emails for capped, any updates? I'm still getting the wrong figures mailed to me yet Support seems to have the correct figures. If support can get the right usage figures, then why is CW mailing me the incorrect figures?

I have been with CW for a very long time, from the second or 3rd month they started up but I'm starting to get a little irritated by the lack of replies in here and CW constantly missing deadlines, like the portal. It might seem insignificant to some but I can't recommend friends to join CW when their currently ISP has a portal where they can access their account, make changes, see usage etc etc etc

TL;DR - fix your act CW else you will lose me as your customer..

I'm seriously looking at moving away from CW. The constant security issues, the incorrect usage emails, and the fact that since the 1st of the month, I get half the speed I'm paying for on a capped account.

They seems to be in a desperate race to self-destruct.

The short of it is No and No and No...

Like the speed, when it's working, but otherwise looking very amateurish at the moment.

Basic stuff they can't get resolved. a Usage report, if they have the data, should not even take a day to code.
They how many months in business now and no portal.

Saying again, like the bandwidth, but thats all... they are more expensive so if someone else came along at same price/performance then there's little keeping me here.

it's as if he myBB CW user is just here now and then to fight fires, he is not really active... more like a act.

pity, after all the hype.

Management is still investigating the problem and an update will be sent out once some kind of resolution has been found.

EDIT: Related to the speed issues.

This ^^

CrystalWeb its seems are now trying to compete with the likes of Afrihost in price. Well you know if I wanted to have a 2nd rate connection to save money I would be with Afrihost in the 1st place.

Seriously CrystalWeb - your customers are not those who want to pay the least - they are those who want the best.

If this does not get sorted soon I will be ISP hunting for the the 1st time in a long time again - would be really very disappointing.
