I had the same problem a while ago. Easy fix was to block incoming traffic on port 53.

But I do agree. CW can at least give 24hours notice before just suspending your account. This is bad business.
I actually thought that my firewall was blocking all incoming ports. Apparently this isn't the case anymore.
It's not a difficult fix and I have zero problems with implementing it, I'm just tired of being told after the fact, that my account has been locked.
Hell, if I had to Google the problem, I wouldn't be able to without another ISP account or mobile Internet. I wouldn't even be able to go on live chat. I wouldn't even have SEEN the damn email.

Was your line also one of the affected lines? Is it fixed now?

My line is still not fixed. I am getting fed up and want to move the line.

Not sure my line was having issues, but I've not been paying too close attention lately.
Sent the request to move my line back to Telkom, this morning. Cancellation form is going in when I get home this evening.

Any way to get hold of Openserve directly?

Or is it a case of calling Telkom and getting to the same place?

I doubt OpenServe will get involved with an end-user, and Telkom will just tell you the line's with your ISP, contact them...

Sucks to be you, as it doesn't even help to move to a new ISP at this point in time... This is exactly why my line will never, ever, be with an ISP.

Well the thing is the situation of being unable to contact Openserve would then be the exact same even if it was with Telkom.

So you have your line hosted with your own OpenServe wholesale license? Since you will never, ever use an ISP...

If you don't have a line with an ISP then you don't have a line.

Still on 2MB...

What day did yours revert to 2Mbps? The fact that no further comment from CW Management has been made shows how poor their PR team is. Have you contacted them via live chat or telephone?

Logged my case via email on 6 December at 22:22 already. Possibly the very first to notice the problem.

And the last to be stuck with it seemingly.

Oh no, you're not the last. At least 122 (at LEAST) are on lower than normal sync speeds.

huh? 90ms internationally? Your data is traveling faster than the speed of light :D

What it tells me in game. Don't shoot the messenger

Can tell you the game is super smooth though. Could not actually believe it.

Chatting to the players just now. Server hosted in California.

Seriously chuffed with this. Game is very smooth. Very hard to tell it is not local. How/why... Don't care. Just hope this remains.

I've been monitoring this "issue" since the beginning, see my previous posts on the thread regarding WA, CW and OS.

So 122 people in this thread have confirmed that their speed is still messed up? Seems a tad high from what I've seen here.

Not 122 from this thread, 122 from things I see that are not public. I mentioned where this info comes in several posts over the past week. A bit lazy to retype it all.

Well at least then I know I'm not one lonesome soldier that got forgotten or left behind.

Seemingly mine now requires a manual flip of the switch at the Exchange which I'm sure won't happen on a Public Holiday.

I have however asked if I can at least get 4MB done in the meantime electronically because with that I can actually use my Xbox etc.
