Seriously chuffed with this. Game is very smooth. Very hard to tell it is not local. How/why... Don't care. Just hope this remains.

That has to be the server ping, not your ping to server ..... it's literally impossible to get that ping to NA coz of distance

Where's your proof that the server is not from NA? As he has said. He switched to CW and international ping dropped . What you still questioning?

Only possible if he is on fibre.

Got Fibre and switched over to the open-time CAP thing. So far so good.

Still not possible to NA. 140ms to EU min, another ~90ms to NA. Min ping is about 230ms if you're on fiber in Cape Town.

I believe that's my ping on vdsl......fibre not that better of an option unless local servers?

The limitation is the undersea international links... ping will be the same for that portion of the link and will always be above 100ms.

I'd like proof if you can hit that latency on VDSL. 90ms from Cape Town is just over half the route of WACS, no way that's in North America. The server is either middle Africa or something along those lines.

wow this ISP is slow, 4meg cant stream on "low" on twitch, or 720p on youtube, skype messages take ages.. is it bust or something?

What's the ip? I'll run a trace. Like I said...I believe....English for I might but I am not sure.

I have just finished playing. Will check for the IP when I hop online a little later.

9 others on the server this evening. All American.

Dunno what to say. The game runs super smooth. Mate joined me tonight. Average ping of 115ms on Telkom LTE.
Wherever this server is hosted, I hope it sticks around for a while. The game just plays so well.

Earlier this week, I tried two servers in Thailand. Average around 100ms. Also smooth, but it drove me nuts with the global chat in a language I didn't understand, so never stuck around.

My line is still not what it should be, but at least I'm on a 20Mbps ADSL profile now and not on 2Mbps anymore. I'm supposed to be on a 40Mbps VDSL profile
