Are you triggered by any chance? Face the facts, they can't do marketing themselves since they are really terrible at PR. Instead they are going to let shills do it for them instead. This is just going to lead to more obscurity and overselling the actual quality of their products. Basically pyramid tactics.
Are you a CW customer? How has your experience been with their products over the festive season?

Archer, that's two different things. Word of mouth marketing in today's time is stronger than a sale team. Look at xiaomi, they out rank Apple in sales in china. As someone who is employed by the company, you have to disclose the fact that you are a employee of the company. Complete opposite for shills.

Who do you think a consumer is going to trust more? A friend/family/stranger or a company employee.

Will you be repeating this in all the ISPs' threads where they offer rewards for referrals? eg. Afrihost, Webafrica, etc.?

Can CW organise a way for a sign up link to be used with our referral code embedded? It's much more inconvenient to people we're helping if they need to manually add our referral code into their forms, and makes it seem like we're using them. Also, shouldn't new signups get a discount for their first month? Referral programs always give a perk to both parties to help incentivise everyone.

So basically you want to sneak it to them without them noticing?

If they're getting a discount it wouldn't matter if they were 'deceived' into using a loaded URL. While I would always disclose the referral aspect anyway, it's both a convenience to new signups and avoids them receiving no value for their participation under any circumstances. Seems win win to me.

Does the referral registration not work for anyone else? Not getting any mail or sms, tried yesterday and again today.

Supposedly was this week.

Either way it's ridiculous.

I'm also not back to my original speed. I refused to pay my line rental this month and only paid for my data.

The best of all is, they resolved all of my previously open calls for the issue. I'm pretty much pissed and done with CW. Piss poor service if you ask me

Signed up yesterday for 150GB capped xtreme and immediately regret my decision, only getting 2mb speed on international, full speed on local.

Moved my line back to Telkom, from CW, at the beginning of the month.
They said they're billing me for January, on it, as Telkom already billed them. So I'm paying a full month for something like 3 days of usage.

When asked why I'm moving, I said that their service has gone to crap, they don't follow through on promises and my patience is running out. "I'm sorry that that's your perception," was the response I got. This implies that I'm wrong. Well, I don't think I'm the only person holding that sentiment.

Seems like I am in the minority here, but I am really happy with their service.
Moved from Telkom to CW about a year ago, and really had no issues.

Maybe I am just lucky.....
