Evetech disaster. Don't ever buy from them.

Nothing to do with crypto mining. I didn't know they were dodgy Pakistani grey importing company. Thought it was good that they had a physical store near me. This is a gtx1060. Cost me a lot of money

Always research an online store before buying from it. You would have quickly discovered that Evetech is garbage.

It sounds to me like a problem with the supplier -- who are they?

No, it sounds 100% like a problem with Evetech. The supplier isn't the customer's problem and this isn't the first time Evetech have given atrocious customer service.

Pretty much, goods are fine on purchase, it's aftersales thats horrific.

Definitely not a supplier issue, there's stock of 1060's readily available.

My local computer mania just got 45 of them in and that's just one store.

LOL. So with how many threads with hundreds of unhappy customers people STILL support a company that built their success on grey imports. I can but laugh.
Nothing wrong with selling grey imports in of itself, it's Evetechs aftersales support that creates the issues and from what I have read they screw you around whether they sourced the product locally or not.

Screwing doesn't even do it justice. If you sell grey imports, you need to make sure you can service the warranty claims. Not sell every last card and hope for the best. Bet you they make you pay the balance if their newer stock comes in at a higher cost price, before they swap out. By the way, do they have a rep on the forum?

Exactly. What makes them infamous is that they advertise items with "3 year warranty" but if it breaks after 12 months they tell you to go to the supplier direct. Twice that's what they did with me.

Say what you want about Evetech, these threads do not affect their business in the least.

Every time when I visit them I am astonished at just how busy they are with customers coming and going. It always looks like they are having a Black Friday sale.

Speaking of Black Friday, they did not even participate in that last year, and that did not even affect their sales volumes at all.

You work for their Marketing team?

Truth be told, I bought from them a few times, online. Had no issues, so I can't complain. Though, I also haven't returned anything yet. That seems to be where the main issue resides.

I bought a 1070 Ti from them and I'm dreading should anything go wrong.

But yeah obviously they're making mad money. The people that buy from them will eventually get burned though, and I sure as hell know they won't buy there a second time then.

Even if they have tons of customers, why not just ****ing have some decent customer service policies and honor warranties?

I have no affiliation with them at all.

I am just stating what I observed with my own eyes.

So far I cannot fault them, but am sure their after-sales service is almost non-existing. This seems to be the par for most such businesses though, unfortunately.

No not par for the course, Evetech aftersales support is consistently the worst by a long shot. Evetech go into the deal with the full knowledge that if the customer needs warranty that they will probably be getting screwed, modern technology is relatively reliable so they no doubt take a bet that the balance of their clients will be happy and too bad for the rest, it's profitable but not ethical.

^This. They have a huge demand for their stock -- I couldn't even find parking this Saturday, so it appears that the whiners in this post are waaaay in the minority.
I returned a keyboard recently and am awaiting a reply from their supplier. Two managers addressed my issue in a manner that I could only describe as exemplary. I was so happy that I bought a cool leather Noblechair from them, and noticed that two other buyers got themselves Vertagears, all in about 30 minutes.

No sympathy here, it's been posted many times over. Purchasing from evetech is like buying without warranty.

Iv'e been using Evetech for a while and haven't had anything but good service. Iv'e only had one return but it was painless - 4 working days...

Really surprised by the amount of people that have posted here who have been let down by Evetech.

Sad but true, perhaps similar to buying a Volvo, great car but then comes time to sell it everything changes...

Sad that people are still having issues with Evetech, rather use Wootware and Rebeltech in the future. Both have excellent customer service!

Thanks, that's good to know, I've never used Wootware and Rebeltech before purely because their prices appear to be hugely inflated, but I may consider them if I want to buy dodgy stuff that is reputed to break often.

Got my new replacement mechanical "gaming" keyboard from Evetech today, very happy with it, the after sales service took a bit long, but it was worth it.
