Speedtests are still the same, IDM was single thread.

Damn dude!! Why are those so weak do you think? Definitely an issue with those particular servers but still.... Even your Coreix result is weak... single thread performance remains questionable... Maybe ISP's should bundle their Fibre offerings with free lifetime IDM subscriptions! Only about R300 per pc and would probably save them tons on their support end...

I've got my 1TB WD SSD, but my life of frustration this week, acronis doesn't support usb drives, and my cdro drive is stuffed so will have to share a drive to make boot disk to clone, as my hdd is the bottleneck now of 30MB/s with that download. I'll see what I can get done over the weekend.

Internet speeds are really bad at night during peak hours. It never happened a month ago but now it's getting worse every night.

This was my connection to New York at 9:18 PM


This was my connection to London at 9:19 PM
 
it seems like every time those maintenance SMS;s come through from home connect, the internet speeds are getting worse and worse, you wonder one would expect that service would be better with maintenance but I guess thats not the case with Home Connect...

They have been testing my line for the past two nights and every time I mention the speeds to international servers they either ignore me or give me a stupid answer. I don't think this is an issue with Home connect but an issue with all of the fiber providers as a whole. I saw people complaining in the cool ideas forum as well about international speeds and they ignore everyone that ask about that and I don't know why.
