Home-Connect ISP Feedback

Issues with my line start after 630pm.second day in a row I'm seeing this trend. Awaiting their senior team feedback. I just noticed that BF5 servers complaining about latency and they are local servers.

Speeds perfect on my side. 100/10 with FF in Blouberg

So I called them to cancel my service. A helpful customer agent advised me that MF is having a congestion issue and busy with upgrades. Service is expected to be fixed next Thursday. He pleaded to give them a chance to fix it and cancel if I'm still not happy thereafter. Fingers crossed

I've noticed a ping spike and low download speeds anything between 18:00-21:00. But its like one hour ... Anyone else ? ( Frogfoot network )

Seems they finally fixed my issue .MF upgraded their end. Speed tests are looking great. RD running smoother. Fingers crossed.

First month on Home Connect (20/20). SA connections are good, international streaming is very slow like 500kbps. Is that normal for all ISPs - do they all share the same pipe to the US and are all slow? Or are some much better / pay for more bandwidth internationally?

Dude, I had major issues for a month. Working great now. In actual fact, it's smoother than CI. I'm with Metro and they had congestion issues. If you don't come right with them, ask to speak to Lynthus the customer support lead. He is very helpful.

Home Connect on the Vumatel network has been down for a couple of days in Bryanston/Riverclub area. Anyone have any info on this? Getting some random references to a DDoS attack on Cool Ideas, which sounds odd. Was not aware Coo Ideas and Home Connect were linked an any way.

OK, so chased up Vumatel and they pulled finger and fixed from their side without coming out. Sounds like a Telkom of disconnect one person to fix the next until you find a free terminal point.
Cool Ideas has been resolved, someone else got confused.
All good. Up and running again.

Was it one of their employees that mentioned Cool Ideas? Or Vuma?
They are Cipherwave so definitely not related.
Was your issues on Vumas end then?
