I've just got back from two months there and it's next level. Many fast food places have guilt tip screens on their machines (like the one below) but you can circumvent that nonsense by paying cash, or by just hitting no tip...Man, going to USA is expensive as it is and they seem expect tips everywhere and not really seem happy even after 10% tip.

I am happy with all kinds of automation such as this where you punch in your own tip or not.I've just got back from two months there and it's next level. The problem is a lot of servers don't get proper basic pay.They should do away with this tips. It's like people in all industries need a tip "Bribe" now to do their jobs.

If they had to pay their workers more (which I agree with), they would need to charge more on their menu pricing. I'm paying either way, so I don't mind."Don't be angry at the business for not paying their workers, it's the customer that's at fault!"
