I wonder how many people think Apple were the 1st with this ?

For the “Disruptive Device Innovation”, Apple wins again with its Emergency SOS via Satellite. Apple’s iPhone 14 launch event showed the world that Satellites could be used to communicate in cases of emergency without requiring any special hardware.

Both Huawei and Apple launched their latest series of smartphones, iPhone 14 and Mate 50, this week, but the former beat the latter to it by just a day.


Huawei ahead of Apple’s Far Out iPhone 14 launch event has announced the Mate 50 series of flagship phones. The Mate 50 is the first commercial smartphone in the world to sport satellite connectivity, something that’s also set to be one of the key headlining features of the upcoming iPhone 14, if rumour mills are anything to go by.

What was the first phone to be released with the feature? In other words, which one was on sale first?
 
Sounds like a bodge job as well.

Look - everyone the entire world says the iPhone isn’t the first. But in true fashion the die hard fans see everything differently.
