So turn the brightness down.

Literally responding on a pure white screen and nothing is blinding about it.

Dark mode on the other hand makes it hard to read.

A complete farce not based in any science whatsoever, likely damaging people’s vision especially when used in daylight.

I'd agree, I do find it more effort to read on a black background, paper isn't black either just as an fyi to the people who think dark mode is normal.

Do you per chance have a astigmatism?

Then it’s even worse and in some cases like myself nearly impossible.
 
Have mine set to what time of day it is. Normal during the day, dark mode when the sun goes down so that I’m not blinding myself at night. My circadian rhythm is screwed up as is. Only problem is I live in the Northern Hemisphere so yeah, that sometimes happens quite late…
 
Any idea what the typical discount is in September/October for previous gen iphone ?
Trying to figure out if I should get a 14 now or wait until the launch of the 15 and get the 14 at a discount then (of hopefully at least 2k less than what it costs now)

Apple makes like half its money from iPhone sales. I doubt they're going to shoot their golden goose in the head. If the price is going up, most likely for a new Ultra model that is separate from the Pro models.

Pro and Pro Max will go up in price.
 
I got my 14 normal model on the 23rd october 2022, since then I've only used the factory apple cable and the apple fast charging brick purchased from iStore, I haven't used any beta iOS just the official releases, my phone is sitting on an astonishing 90% battery capacity after just 9 months of ownership, I'm highly disappointed with the obvious drop in manufacturing parts quality apple has taken the direction of. I only know of this issue being experienced on 14 pro models yet it's happening to me, I still have 3 months of my warranty left to see what happens to my device, as the battery does not last an entire day of usage. I highly doubt Apple will address this issue nor iStore (stingiest people ever) will even try help me fix it unless I'm willing to empty my wallet for them.1691837438569.png
