The way I understand it is if you took the prepaid option, then it was a once only thing, but if you took the account option then they will bill you automatically and they will hold the same price till 31 December. Who knows?Hi guys,
I ordered a 100gb acc last month and though it was just a once off purchase for 100gb. Today I noticed that the clientzone says
Tel No Username Base Package Login Traffic Status Valid
01148xxxxx [email protected] 100GB 2014-10-01 00:00:00 0 MB Active Valid Detail Topup
ie. I got a new bundle this month. I used their VCS credit card payment option. Did I just get charged for the new month, and can they take money from my account this way?
Edit: Realized its a month to month account. Anybody know what price I would have been charged for this? Original R1 per gig or new prices...

10GB for R10 is still available as the links are still live on www.cappedadsl.co.za/index.php#packages
there new lottery system for top-ups or "live top-up pool"
www.itnt.co.za/adsl-capped.php
is unfortunately not live, or at least not to me on the original 10GB package. Perhaps that is only available if you sign up for one of the new half-data packages where you can't use half the gigs during the day.
The "live pool top-ups" are only available when you reach 80% cap. So no chance for me to supplement my small 10GB package in the first 5 days of the month. So likely no cheap topups left for me after that. I'll not pay more than R2/GB
In terms of the early capped usage warnings, I suspect they have confused their new and old accounts. The new ones only allow half you data to be used by day and the rest after midnight. The initial offer had no such time restrictions. They have probably setup a blanket monitoring system.
Can't you buy 10GB data, complete it in the first 1-2 hours, then topup 200GB for R200 from the R1 pool? Or am I understanding this wrong?
Yes, if you have the connection speed and enough to download. I don't so I was speaking of my circumstances. Can't you buy 10GB data, complete it in the first 1-2 hours, then topup 200GB for R200 from the R1 pool? Or am I understanding this wrong?
