Hmmm... The 51D550 its very tempting! I think I need to go have a look at one, to check how reflective it is - I was hoping for a 51D6500, but apparently they won't be available in SA

Anyone using a HTPC with the 51D550? Seems like guys in the UK are having issues with the 51D6900 (one model higher)... When setting the HDMI1 input to DVI/PC mode, the image gets a blue tint

I've hooked up my gaming pc and my macbook pro and both look awesome. No 'blue tint'.

Cool ;-) And is that connected to HDMI 1 with the input set to DVI PC mode? (to disable overscan) If you change the TV to view another HDMI input, and then back to HDMI 1, does it still look okay? See this thread - http://www.avforums.com/forums/plas...-1920x1080-60hz-dvi-pc-mode-blue-overlay.html

On my LA32C550, I had a hectic blue tint until I renamed HDMI 1/DVI to DVI/PC. From then it's been perfect. So sounds like it could be the same for the plasma.

I would but there aren't any words to describe how awesome the 3D on this tv is, please if someone else has watched a 3D tech demo on this tv back me up, I watched a LG 3D demo and had full HD fish swimming out of my tv.
