LucidView mobile uncapped feedback

Can't you guys find a nice proxy that's inside one of the high priority zones and feed all your downloads and whatnot through there....
 
1.Youtube - inaccessible.
2. Win. defender definitions updates - inaccessible.
3. Winamp audio stream - inaccessible.
4. Login to guardian view to see if i've defaulted to child mode - inaccessible.

I think they banned me, lol. I went to www.thepiratebay.sx, maybe that's why, but never did torrents.

EDIT: A bit confused, because I can't even use the internet APN on the sim, but can do calls though.
 
Nah, don't wanna bother. They must've monitored me. They said they would monitor us anyways. I did 2 series episodes yesterday @ 150MB each on micromkv.com @ 50-60KB/s. So that's copyright material, one strike and you're a goner, should update my review thread..

If so, I Wonder who at LV concludes that a particular download constitutes a copyright infringement? To my knowledge it is vested in the Judiciary. It would be unfair if a user is deemed 'guilty' and consequently sanctioned without regard for any due process...interesting.

Unfortunately they have a policy change that makes this product unusable in my case:
The policy change is:
No downloads ( expect for Phone store updates)
No streaming (video or audio)
No torrents
No VPN tunneling
No multi user sharing of single chitchat sim
Sim cards is to be used in cellphone and tablets only

Uses who persistently attempt to circumvent the above policy will be disconnected with out warning or refund.

I have been informed you have violated our fair use policy and your access has been suspended due to persistent abuse on out chit chat product.
Chit chat does not permit any downloads, torreting, streaming ect.

I concede on forgetting to close my uTorrent yesterday (although everything goes @ 2KB/s, so it's not abuse, rather me allowing P2P to be active on the Lucidview network, my traffic on Lucidview with torrenting doesn't surpass 1MB).

I also concede of downloading 2 series episodes, which I committed piracy using the Lucidview network.

My total Lucidview usage: ~500MB.

Mixed emotions, but I've filed my cancellation, and urge anyone not to consider this lie product.

Aah, crap didn't see that, they've altered the TOS again. Would you believe it. Updating OP and review thread.
 
Well, I got the e-mail too. That is an egregious deviation from the initial offer - good effing golly!!. The ToS's are riddled with caveats which essentially empowers Lucidview with carte blanche to make any changes whatsoever without any notice - pretty frikken dumb when their policy shifts are so 'violent' and unpredictable, actually it borders on insanity. Lost for words, really!

This product has never been advertised by LucidView as a downloading product. This ChitChat product has always been about communication, parental control, staying connected and fixed predictable costs.

Say what? It's not a download product, ok. Point is downloads were allowed on the last priority! Get your facts straight!

How am I going to download my "chitchat" apps now? If ALL downloads are barred?

Ok, fair enough, I'm banned either ways, and filed my cancellation.

Your company is a big con and erratic, the TOS must've changed at least 10 times. I'm going to spread word about how bad this company actually is.

R199 as I've said time and again is a rip off. Now, downloads and streaming aren't allowed, and the price hasn't been reduced?

How about a price reduction to R49? Because that's the worth of this product. Ok joking, I meant R29.

Allow me to cast a lucid view on the matter. Your claims here are partially true - beneath the embellishment of your truth resides a sinister real truth. Would you agree with me when I say that by virtue of your own propaganda which clearly states that 'large downloads' and 'media streaming' will be subject to a lower priority, network congestion dependent, implies to a potential user, firstly, that this is allowed, and, secondly, that this construes advertisement of such usage?

If this product is indeed 'always been about communication' - why was the propaganda touted as 'lucid view launching' and 'the first phase', do your terms not contradict one another? How can you launch something at first phase that's always been?

Is it possible for you to at least remove your conceited attitude for one minute, and step into the shoes of us users? And having done so, do you now understand where the fuss is emanates from?

No one here believed this product to be an exclusive chit-chat service, without any ability to stream, down-load etc. Do you believe any adult would be attracted to this offer if this was indeed what he believed?

I could go on....I think enough has been said about this product. Thankfully I cancelled. You can thank me for beta-testing your product and paying you to do so. Maybe a beer one day?
