I think the iPhone/iPad numbers are mixed up with the Android numbers on the table. It does not correspond with the article.

so the budget android phones by vodacom is making a big impact.

what would be interesting is the non smartphone numbers added, so your feature phones to see if android is taking numbers from there...

Seems Blackberry is showing a steady decline, as smartphones gain in popularity.

It's awesome that Vodacom is happy to share this key market information.

I'm amazed Blackberry has held out so long, considering all the media hype about its demise, and considering the number of suppliers using Android.

Windows is doing remarkably well at 50% of Apple - again considering the enormous hype around Apple and their launches and the negative press about Windows, the Surface and Win 8.

Blankberry is steadily losing weight

That's just Windows Phones vs iPhone + SIM-enabled iPads, remember. And in the last 3 months, they've outsold the iOS devices, combined.

Blackberry is definitely on a downward spiral. Their top end devices don't run BIS anymore which is understandable because BIS will degrade the user experience on high spec devices. This cost them market share.

I'd say this actually looks almost 'normal' compared with international markets, except it should be Apple & Android fighting for number 1 & 2 positions.
